The Season 7 finale, "Requiem," left many fans dying for Season 8 to get here as fast as possible (myself included). The thought of Mulder being abducted and Scully pregnant was one of the best cliffhangers of any series in recent memory. As the show had to focus on a Mulder-less scenario for the first part of the season, the introduction of a new partner for Scully and her own insatiable search for her abducted partner while trying to maintain her pregnancy placed the series in the "must see" category yet again.
