Is this the end of the series? That was an even bigger question than
the actual wrap-up of the Season 6 cliffhanger with Mulder's madness and Scully's
discovery of an alien ship. Plus, conflicts off the set between series star David Duchovny
and Fox Network as well as Gillian Anderson's very public statement of not returning to the series for
an eighth season only added more anxiety to the fans.
Time will definitely tell as the series winds its way down to a possible permanent sunset from TV land.
